About this tool
A strong, unique password is one of the most important defences against unauthorised access to your accounts. Security experts recommend passwords of at least 12 characters that include a mixture of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid dictionary words, names, dates, and predictable patterns such as "Password1!" — these can be cracked quickly by automated attacks even when they technically meet complexity requirements. Never reuse the same password across different accounts; if one site is breached, all reused accounts become vulnerable. This generator creates cryptographically random passwords using your browser's built-in secure random number generator. No password is ever transmitted to a server — generation happens entirely on your device.
Passwords are generated locally in your browser and are never sent to any server.
